Component II: Institutional strengthening and capacity development for scaling up Agricultural. Component III: Project Coordination and Management. The planned acquisitions of goods concern : 1- Acquisition of resilient corn, potato and sweet potato seeds
2- Acquisition of model hatcheries on each island + Solar energy kit
The objective of this Grant is to stimulate local food production and strengthen the resilience of food systems in order to
mitigate risks in the short and medium term. Specifically, it aims to: • Intensify the production of maize, potato and sweet
potato using varieties that are resilient to climate change; • Respond to priority needs for the revival of poultry production in
order to increase the availability and accessibility of eggs and white meat; • Create favorable conditions for the production
and productivity of the targeted sectors.
