Product Detail : Tender Are Invited For Equipment Design - Supply - Installation of a 20 MWp solar power plant in Maradi and Assistance with operation and maintenance as well as training of NIGELEC staff Project Solar Power Plant Development and Improvement of Access to Electricity in Niger (RANA) The Government of the Republic of Niger has requested and obtained financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to finance the cost of the Niger Solar Power Plant Development and Electricity Access Improvement Project (RANA) which it will on-lend to NIGELEC , and NIGELEC intends to use part of this financing to make payments under the Contract Design - Supply - Installation of a 20 MWp solar power plant in Maradi and Assistance in operation and maintenance as well as training of NIGELEC staff . For this Contract, the Borrower will make payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank's Guidelines and Procedures. The Niger Electricity Company - NIGELEC, is seeking closed offers from eligible bidders who meet the required qualifications for Design - Supply - Installation of a 20 MWp solar power plant in Maradi and Assistance in operation and maintenance as well as training of NIGELEC staff. The lead time for design, supply and installation of the solar power plant is 18 months and support for operation and maintenance as well as training is 24 months after operational acceptance. The procedure will be conducted through international competition using an Open Call for Tenders (OCT) as defined in the Bank's Procurement Framework 2 "AfDB Procurement Policy, October 2015 Edition", and open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Procurement Framework. Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee, for an amount of Four hundred and forty million (440, 000, 000) CFA francs .
