Tender Are Invited For Development and Asphalting Works of the Road Starting from the RN5 to the Mparambo Border Post (3.35 km)
1. The Government of the Republic of Burundi has obtained a Grant from the World Bank to finance the cost of the Great Lakes Trade Facilitation and Integration Project (PFCIGL) and intends to use part of the sums granted under this financing to make the payments planned under the contract for the Development and Asphalting Works of the road from the RN5 to the Mparambo Border Post (3.35 km).
2. The Great Lakes Trade Facilitation and Integration Project (PFCIGL) hereby invites Bidders to submit their Offers in a sealed envelope for the construction of the Development and Asphalting Works of the road from the RN5 to the Mparambo Border Post (3.35 km).
Brief description of the Project and essential quantities to be implemented
The Project concerns the construction and asphalting works of a road in an urban and peri-urban environment with a length of 3.35 km including
– The construction of a two-way carriageway 7.00 m wide and shoulders 2 x 1.50 m wide;
– The construction of hydraulic and sanitation works.
The main tasks and essential quantities to be carried out consist of
• General installation of the site;
• Clearance of rights-of-way (preparatory works);
• General earthworks;
• Roadworks and outbuildings; etc.
