1. The Republic of Côte d'Ivoirehas requested financing in the amount of two hundred million (200,000,000) euros in the form of a loan (installment sale) from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to finance theTafire-Ferkessédougou Highway Construction Project (58 km)and intends to use part of this financing to make payments for the acquisition of goods, works and related services, and consulting services necessary for this project.The financing for this project will be provided jointly by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) with a contribution of 200 million euros and the Ivorian State with 18.70 million euros, bringing the total cost of the project to 218.70 million euros.

The project will include the following eight (8) components
Component 1: Civil engineering works
The development and paving according to the rules of the art of the Tafire-Ferkessédougou motorway (Lot 1 and 2 – 58 km);
Lot 1: Tafire-Kouroukouna (29 km);
Lot 2: Kouroukouna-Ferkessédougou (29 km).
The contract for the works of each lot will be awarded by International Invitation to Tender (ITT) after prequalification reserved for companies from IDB Member Countries.
Component 2: Related Works
The implementation of related activities will amplify the project's impact. Their identification is based, on the one hand, on the project's environmental studies and, on the other hand, on the grievances and expectations of the local population. These activities include, among other things:
