Tender Detail : General notice for procurement : Additional Financing for the Integrated Program for Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Niger Basin (pidacc/bn) The Ivorian Government has received a Loan/Grant from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and its partners, through the Strategic Climate Fund Loan (SCF Loan), the Strategic Climate Fund and Fund Grant (SCF Grant), and the African Development Fund (ADF) Loan, for Additional Financing of the Integrated Program for Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Niger Basin (PIDACC/BN), Côte d'Ivoire Component. This project aims to achieve the following main objectives: The sectoral objective of the project is to contribute to improving the resilience of populations to climate change and to increase the country's carbon sequestration. As for the specific objectives, the Additional Financing project for PIDACC aims to: (i) preserve the ecosystems of the Niger Basin by reducing the siltation process of the Niger River; (ii) improve the resilience of agropastoral production systems; (iii) improve the integrated and shared management of natural resources; and (iv) increase forest cover in the former cocoa-growing region. The project is structured around three (3) components: Component 1: Support for the restoration of forest capital through the development of village agroforestry and the development of forest plantations in the Central Regions; Component 2: Improvement of the resilience of ecosystems and populations in the Niger sub-basin; Component 3: Project coordination and management. Procurement of goods (including services other than consulting services), works, and consulting services financed by the Bank under the project will be carried out in accordance with the Procurement Framework for Bank Group-financed operations, October 2015 edition, and in accordance with the provisions announced in the Financing Agreements. Certain acquisitions of goods and works will be carried out in accordance with Ivorian legislation on public procurement (Decree No. 2009-259 of August 6, 2009, establishing the Public Procurement Code, as amended by Decrees No. 2014-306 of May 27, 2014, and No. 2015-525 of July 15, 2015) using the country's standard tender documents. 1. Acquisitions of goods: These will include contracts for: (i) Equipment support for 100 nursery growers' groups (means of transporting seedlings to nurseries), (ii) Equipping 1,000 bushfire prevention committees with technical equipment, (iii) Equipping 24 economic interest groups with agricultural machinery, (iv) Providing equipment to twenty (20) economic interest groups (v) Seed support for the cultivation of 500 hectares of market garden crops, (vi) Equipment support for groups (small equipment) for the cultivation of 500 hectares of market garden crops, (vii) Equipment support for 1,000 hectares of cassava crops, (viii) Seed support for beneficiaries for the cultivation of 1,000 hectares of cassava, (ix) Supply and deployment of six (6) 4x4 vehicles, (x) Supply and deployment of twenty (23) 200cc motorcycles for Rural Extension Agents (RAs), (xi) Acquisition of small equipment and technical tools (tripod + digital camera) for the UNCP. (xii) Acquisition of IT and peripheral equipment, (xiii) Acquisition of office equipment and furniture for UNCP staff, (xiv) Acquisition of ten (10) tablets for data collection (RASME), (xv) Acquisition of consumables and office supplies for UNCP, (xvi) Layout, arrangement and installation of UNCP offices, (xvii) Acquisition of office supplies and equipment for MINEF (institutional support), and (xviii) Acquisition of videoconferencing equipment for institutional support, will be acquired according to the simplified country system procedure. the Ivorian Government Received From the African Development Bank (afdb) and Its Partners, a Loan/grant Through the Strategic Climate Fund Loan (fsc Loan), the Strategic Climate Fund Grant (fsc Don) and the African Development Fund (adf) Loan for the Additional Financing of the Integrated Development and Adaptation Program to Climate Change in the Niger Basin (pidacc/bn) Ivory Coast Component.
