The government of kenya (gok) has received a credit from the opec fund for international development (ofid) towards the cost of kenya electricity expansion project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for procurement of materials and services for implementation of grid based rural electrification schemes implemented by the rural electrification and renewable energy corporation under the project.
the rural electrification and renewable energy corporation now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for construction of 33kv and 11 kv lines in 3 lots (lot 1 – turkana; lot 2- mandera and lot 3- laikipia and samburu) regions of kenya. bids shall be evaluated and awarded as a lot. no one bidder shall be awarded more than one lot. |
