The IGAD Center of Excellence for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (ICEPCVE) was established to catalyze an inclusive and holistic P/CVE approach. The Centre brings together state and non-state actors involved in P/CVE in the region to share good practice and lessons learned and to promote partnerships. The Centre is committed to facilitating the Eastern Africa region to move towards a common understanding of the drivers of violent extremism (VE) and to contribute to a reduction of the same. |
