The Government of the Union of the Comoros (GoC) has requested funding from the World Bank, within the framework of the Comorsol project in the amount of US $ 30 million, and whose main objectives are (i) the implementation of the Energy Master Plan of the Union of the Comoros through a Delegated Project Management (MOD), (ii) support for the development of photovoltaic (PV) production on the 3 islands while ensuring the stability of the systems electricity through the installation of energy storage in the form of batteries and the modernization of the distribution networks. |
