General procurement notice for Acquisition of connection equipment to the distribution network
1. The Republic of Senegal has obtained a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) for an amount equivalent to USD 150,000,000 to finance the project to improve access to electricity in Senegal (padaes) , and proposes to use part of the funds to pay for supplies, works and services to be acquired within the framework of this project. 2. The project will include the following components: Component 1: Extension and Densification of the Distribution Network: Design, supply and construction of electrical infrastructure for the MV and LV distribution network. Consulting engineering for the control and supervision of works. Component 2: Access to Electricity for a Resilient and Inclusive Post-Covid Recovery: Improve the resilience of vulnerable households. Improve the resilience of essential public services. Improving the resilience of small and medium enterprises. Component 3: Capacity Building of Electricity Sector Institutions: 3.1. Capacity building for power sector institutions. 3.2. Support for the implementation of the PADAES project. 1.
