Tender Detail : General procurement notice for Purchase of Goods (Vehicles, Equipment, Furniture, Stationaries and field gear (Gum boots, Rain coats, umbrellas)) for preparation of 6 Districts Land Use Framework Plans, Preparation, registration and distribution of CCROs for 250 villages in 6 districts The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing in the amount of US$ 150 million from the World Bank for the implementation of the Tanzania Land Tenure Improvement Project under Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in the amount of US$ 1.2 million equivalents to Tanzanian Shillings 2.8 Billion. The Project Development Objectives is to strengthen the national land administration system and increase tenure security in selected areas for both men and women.The project will include the following Components: - The Land Tenure Improvement Project (LTIP) comprises four (4) components namely; Increased Tenure Security, Land Information Management, Physical Development of Land Administration and Project management and M&E. Component 1: Increased Tenure Security: This component will support the issuance of CROs, Residential Licenses, Certificate of Customary Right of Occupancy (CCROs), and other related activities such as community sensitization, land use planning, demarcation, adjudication, conflict resolution and issuance of certificates of Tittles (CROs). This component will entail the following subcomponents: - Subcomponent 1.1: Rural Mass Certification and issuance of 500,000 Certificates of Customary Rights of Occupancy (CCROs). This subcomponent will focus on upscaling successful pilots for mass issuance of CCROs to individuals and communities (depending on preferences of the respective beneficiaries) in the rural areas by using the ILMIS Mobile Application or similar applications that capture land rights information in a participatory manner
