General procurement notice for Strengthening the Adaptive Capacity and Resilience of Communities in Uganda%s watersheds project- Awoja Catchment (SACRiAC). The project includes the following components:
1 Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development and Enhanced Livelihoods,
2 Institutional and Community Capacity Development for climate resilient planning,
3 Climate Information and Early Warning Systems,
4 Project Monitoring and Evaluation and Adaptation Learning
The Government of Uganda has received a loan from the African Development Bank Group to finance the Strengthening the Adaptive Capacity and Resilience of Communities in Uganda%s Watershed Project- Awoja Catchment (SACRiAC). 2. The principal objective of this project is to build adaptive capacity of rural communities and reduce their vulnerability to climate change and improve rural livelihoods, and food security through integrated watershed management, climate-resilient infrastructure, and sustainable agriculture. The procurement methods include the African Development Bank or the Government of Uganda procurement procedures such as: Open Competitive Bidding (OCB), Limited Competitive Bidding (LCB), Least Cost Selection (LCS), etc., which will be captured in the Procurement Plan as well as the respective Specific Procurement Notices (SPNs). 3. The project includes the following components: ? Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development and Enhanced Livelihoods, ?
