Request for proposal: Hiring a Company for Technical Support for Training Health Professionals and Nutrition Supervisors Municipal and Provincial Level in the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition and Infant Food.
Purpose:
Improve SPHERE quality indicators through in-service and classroom training in GIDA and
nutrition for health technicians and nutrition supervisors at provincial and municipal levels.
Methodology
In accordance with pedagogical norms, prepare and implement a training curriculum in accordance with the
National Protocol GIDA and infant feeding and the resources of preventive nutritional actions
essentials, including child protection, family PB approach, nutritional counseling
maternal and infant, vitamin A supplementation and powdered micronutrient supplementation for
health technicians.
Ensuring that the ‘Reference Center of Excellence’ has the required resources to ensure the
service.
Tasks Description:
1. Development of the Training Program in PowerPoint
The general objective of this task is to convert existing GIDA training packages into a
simple and easy to understand that is suitable for frontline health workers (doctors,
nurses and nutritionists of the health units) while preserving the technical terminology and the
original training package content. Specific tasks for this activity include:
- Rewrite the content of each training module in simple, easy-to-read language
understand and appropriate for health technicians who provide nutrition services, from physicians
to community health workers. Must include examples, photos, visuals, readings
recommended for each of the modules.
- Organize the course into two modules to be taught in 5 days for the PTPA and 7 days for
UEN, with two additional days at the beginning of each training for the content of actions
essential preventive nutrition, including child protection and psychosocial stimulation,
family-based BP approach, maternal and child nutritional counseling,
Vitamin A supplementation and powdered micronutrient supplementation
