Expressions of interest : Hiring an Information, Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist for the COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Project of the Ministry of Health with funding from the World Bank.
The Information, Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist's main objective is to ensure that the MASS COMMUNICATION MEDIA CAMPAIGN FOR THE PROMOTION OF VACCINATION AGAINST COVID-19 in Angola is successfully implemented, complying with the respective contractual modalities;
Ensure institutional communication advice from the Portfolio Manager for the dissemination of the activities of the Health Projects financed by the World Bank, adapted to the different target audiences (partners, communities, government, Media, civil society, etc.).
The consultancy will last for 12 months, renewable according to satisfactory performance, financial availability and project needs. The Terms of Reference can be requested at the email address below.
The Project's Central Coordination Unit (UCC) hereby invites eligible individual consultants ("Consultants") to express their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants must provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services.
The selection process will consist of two stages: Curriculum Assessment and Interviews, which will have weights of 70% and 30%, respectively.
The Consultant must possess the following qualifications: a. Degree in communication sciences, journalism, public relations or related areas; B. At least five (5) years of national or international communications experience, including media relations experience; รง. Experience working with communication in Projects Funded by the World Bank and/or International Organizations is an advantage; d. Experience with computer databases, GIS, portal design (website) and information systems; and. Experience of coordinating information with authorities at national, provincial and local levels, different actors with regard to effective communication;f. Be fluent in Portuguese and English; g. Experience of working in Angola or in similar conditions in others in Sub-Saharan Africa (constitutes an advantage); H. Knowledge of the national institutional context of the health sector (an advantage); i. Good communication and organization skills; j. Good analysis and synthesis skills.
