General procurement notice for The Training of Managers of Training Structures in the Approach of Entrepreneurial Management by Projects for Minefop, Minepia, Minader and Private Tvet Training Establishments;
The Government of Cameroon has received funding in the amount of $125 million from the World Bank for the cost of the Support Project for the Development of Secondary Education and Skills for Growth and Employment (PADESCE), and it intends to use part of the proceeds to pay for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be acquired under this project. The project will include the following components Component 1 responsible for supporting the general secondary education subsystem aims to improve the quality of the education offer, through access to quality education for learners in disadvantaged areas, with particular emphasis on girls in regions with low enrollment and increase the efficiency of the system. Component 2 , Skills System Development Support aims to strengthen the skills development sector to provide a wider range of market-relevant skills development programs in selected economic sectors. Component 3 will ensure the functioning of the Project Coordination Unit as well as the monitoring and evaluation of activities, and will provide the technical assistance necessary for the implementation of the activities of components 1 and 2, as well as the monitoring and evaluation activities. Component 4 is set up in accordance with the provisions of the Investment Project Financing Guideline OP/BP 10.00, paragraphs 12 and 13, for emergency response through the provision of immediate crisis response eligible or an emergency, as needed.
