The Agricultural and Rural Training Support Project (PAFAR) in Angola aims to revitalize the agricultural training system at the secondary education level, covering the 12 Agricultural Technical Institutes (ITA) spread across the country.• Contribute to the sustainable development of agricultural production and sectors, and to the adoption of farming practices that respect the environment;
• Contribute to the reduction of food insecurity and poverty in rural areas;
• Support the empowerment of women in rural areas and reduce inequalities between women and men;
• Develop the employability of young people in the agricultural sector.
Engage in agricultural and rural training (ART) reform to respond to skills needs and policy directions in the agricultural sector and reduce gender inequalities in rural areas.
