General procurement notice for Very Small Works Concerning the Renovation/rehabilitation of the Premises Housing Certain Structures of the Project
The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has obtained a credit in the amount of 160,000,000 million USD (one hundred and sixty million United States Dollars) from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank to cover the cost of the Adaptive Social Nets and Economic Inclusion Project (PFS-AIE), and it intends to use part of the funds to pay for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be acquired as part of this project.
The project will include the following components: 1. Component 1: Adaptive and productive social safety nets The objective of this component is to build on the Social Safety Nets Project (1st and 2nd phase) to provide household income support to protect, invest and use human capital and increase resilience. to conflict and climate-related shocks. It comprises the sub-components 1.1.Regular and emergency monetary transfers, 1.2. Emergency Money Transfers , and 1.3. Public Works Program at HIMO (THIMO) . 1. Component 2 : Economic inclusion and youth entrepreneurship The objective of this component is to promote the socio-economic inclusion of young people (aged 15-35), including displaced young people, and to prevent a potential increase in social tensions and conflicts. It comprises two sub-components 2.1. Economic inclusion of vulnerable young people, 2.2. - Business plan competition. 1. Component 3: Shock Responsive Digital Delivery Systems The objective of this component is to improve the performance and responsiveness to shocks of the social protection sector in Cameroon by developing resilient and flexible delivery systems. It includes the sub-components 3.1.- Unified Social Register (RSU), 3.2.- Digital Payment System 1. Component 4: Support for project management and coordination 2. Component 5: Emergency Response Component (CERC)
