General procurement notice for Awareness and awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS/COVID19 health issues and activities related to gender/GBV and road safety
The project includes the following components:
1. Component 1: Improvement of the Nagad - Loyada road infrastructure (10km)
(i) Lot 1: Rehabilitation work on RN 2, Nagad-Loyada section * Development of the 1.7 km rural track;
2.2. Component 2: Advisory services
(ii) Construction supervision services for civil engineering works;
(iii) Awareness and awareness campaigns on health issues and gender-related activities;
(iv) Basic studies and monitoring-evaluation of environmental, climatic and socio-economic impacts
(v) Financial & technical audits & procurement
2. Component 3: Capacity building and project management
(i) Capacity building of the technical staff of the Executing Agency in Djibouti on the HDM4 software
transport in terms of the development of harmonized policies and strategies with a view to good management of regional corridors (vi) Strengthening the entrepreneurial capacities and skills of women involved in the sale of milk/water/juice and catering on good hygiene practices, welcoming customers and tourists
3. Component 3: Facilitation of trade and transport.
(i) Development of a manual of procedures and regulations relating to One-Stop Border Posts
(OSBP)
(ii) Feasibility study, detailed engineering and architectural design for the one-stop border post
(OSBP) at Loyada on the border between Somalia and Djibouti in order to modernize customs
and facilitate trade
