The scope of works comprises the following:
Construction of 2Nr Sludge Treatment Facilities (1Nr in Kilifi and 1Nr in Mtwapa) each comprising of.
1Nr Exhauster Discharge Bay
1Nr Equalization Tank (18 m3 Capacity)
1Nr Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (Twin – 95m³ Capacity)
1Nr Facultative Pond (29m x 13m x 2m at Top Embankment)
2Nr Constructed Wetlands (18m x 6m each)
8Nr Sludge Drying Beds (13m x 10m - Plan Dimensions)
1Nr Operator’s Offices / Guard House
Site and Ancillary Works including Soak Pit, Fencing, Internal Roads, Surface Drainage, etc.
Supply of 2 Nr. Sewage exhausters each 7m3 capacity
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (unconditional bank guarantee) of; Kshs. 1,500,000 (Kenya Shillings One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Only) and
Pre-Bid meeting shall take place at KIMAWASCO head offices in Kilifi Town Off-Mombasa Malindi Road at former KDDP Offices on 26th April, 2024 at 1000Hrs.
