Request for proposal : LTAs for the maintenance of cold rooms, generators, electrical installations and solar systems in CAR.
Goals
2.1. Primary objective
The main objective is to ensure very good management and very good functionality of the equipment
of the cold chain at the central depot (Bangui) and regional depots (Bangassou,
Berberati, Bossangoa, Sibut) in order to guarantee the quality of EPI vaccines in CAR.
2.2. Specific objectives
The specific objectives are among others
– Ensure regular monitoring of the operation of cold rooms and generators
and all electrical installations of the central warehouse and regional depots
– Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of cold rooms in the central warehouse and
regional depots
– Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of the generators in the central warehouse and
regional depots
– Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of air conditioners in the central warehouse and depots
regional
– Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of the electrical installations of the central warehouse and
regional depots
– Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of solar installations in regional depots,
optionally
– Make timely diagnosis of malfunctions in cold rooms, groups
generators, air conditioners and all electrical installations in the central warehouse and
regional depots
– Offer stocks of spare parts with their costs
– Ensure regular maintenance of equipment
– Implement room operation and maintenance management tools

– Organize missions within the country for one-off interventions at the request of
UNICEF or MSP in health facilities (hospitals, district base, etc.) to achieve
diagnostics, equipment repairs or any other interventions that may fall under
their competence
– Ensure continuing training of MSP technicians and central level maintenance pools

– Ensure all other interventions that may fall within their competence
